Powerplants

We swap generic clone motors for genuine Kubota D722 and D902 diesels. They start in the cold, don't bog under load, and you can buy parts for them at any local supply counter.

Parker Hydraulic Pump

Genuine Parker pumps deliver the steady flow and consistent pressure required to run multiple functions at once. You can feather the boom, stick, and bucket simultaneously, ensuring smooth and precise operation under load.

Pilot Hydraulic Controls

True hydraulic pilot joysticks give you smooth, precise feedback. You can feel the cutting edge and dig tight around utilities with ease, offering vastly superior control compared to stiff mechanical linkages.

Retractable Tracks & Boom Swing

Hydraulically retract the tracks to squeeze through tight access routes, then expand them out for maximum working stability. The independent boom swing lets you dig flush against foundations and fence lines without repositioning the machine.

Heavy-Duty Cylinder Armor

Standard imports leave cylinder rods exposed to rock strikes and trench debris. We build our units with heavy steel cylinder guards, protected hose routing, and quick-service external spin-on filters.

Auxiliary Hydraulic Plumbing

Every unit includes factory dual-direction auxiliary lines plumbed down the boom with quick-disconnect fittings. You can pin on an auger or a hydraulic breaker and get straight to work without modifying the hydraulic circuit.

Operator Comfort

Built for long hours on the joysticks. We spec our machines with suspension seating, intuitive gauge layouts, and available climate-controlled enclosed cabs for all-weather operation.

We work directly with the factory to build these machines for American dirt, swapping in genuine Kubota diesels and Parker hydraulics. When you buy from Wasatch Iron, you get a fully assembled, inspected machine with fluids and filters changed and all bolts torqued, backed by local support in Utah.

Wasatch Iron & Equipment is based out of Springville, Utah. We aren't dropshippers, and we aren't just salespeople pointing at spec sheets. We know this industry because we work in it.

After 10 years running heavy equipment, we know what a job site demands. We import machines with standard 1/2-inch fittings, heavy cylinder armor, and genuine Kubota powerplants because we refuse to sell iron that quits at noon.

SERVICE & SUPPORT

Warranty & Local Support

We back our iron. Every Wasatch Iron compact excavator includes a 12-Month / 1,000-Hour limited factory parts warranty (whichever comes first). This covers major component failures directly affecting the operation of the machine, including the engine block and main hydraulic pump assemblies.

Need Parts or Service? If a covered component fails, email our support team directly with a brief video of the issue and your machine's serial number. If it is a standard mechanical component, we pull it from our local Springville spare stock. If a major assembly fails, we air-freight the replacement direct from the factory so you aren't waiting weeks on a boat.

Exclusions: Warranty does not cover standard wear items (e.g., rubber tracks, bucket teeth, hydraulic hoses) or structural damage resulting from operator abuse and impact.

You shouldn't have to wait weeks for a proprietary filter. Our Kubota powerplants and hydraulic systems utilize standard, over-the-counter consumables and fittings. You can purchase your 50-hour service interval parts at the local NAPA or O'Reilly Auto Parts down the street.
